What is your favorite form of physical exercise?
The honest answer is that I don’t know anymore.
Pre cancer and pre the struggles with my mental health, I used to walk a lot, go to the gym, I loved my aqua aerobics class. I would go almost every day.
But surgery, feeling so poorly and fear going out and about has left me quite unfit. But now I’m ready to build up my fitness again. To get stronger. I want to feel healthy and strong again. It feels like I am starting from scratch, which I suppose I am really.
I’ve started bowling again, I had stopped for a while and I’m still playing showdown. But there’s always room for improvement and I can always get stronger.
Today I took that step and started my fitness journey. Even though I was so nervous. I did it and it felt good.
