Possibly an unpopular opinion

We could be at the beginning of a societal shift towards a more ethical way of living. The most basic step we can all take is to stop consuming animal flesh and their secretions on the mass scale that currently happens. Better still, go vegan.

Being so careful where you spend your money, who you support when you spend. Only financially supporting the things that cause the least harm to people, the planet and animals.

Instead of paying into fast fashion, buy second hand, don’t over consume, prioritise small and local business.

When we have these conversations there’s always someone who, rightfully so says that there are people who can’t do that, but there’s a simple answer to that – can YOU do it? if the answer is yes; then DO IT!! if enough of us with the privilege of choice do the right thing then the world will wake up and change.

You don’t have to be perfect. Do meat free Monday, use eco friendly cleaning products, don’t buy needlessly. Make small changes, that if enough of us make it’ll be so impactful. Don’t use the thing you can’t do as a reason to do nothing.

Every decision is political and everything you do is a direct reflection on the world you want to live in.

Start today, it’s not too late.

  1. I’ve been trying to make more eco friendly decisions for a while. I’d be really interested in trying more vegan meals but don’t really know where to start. Maybe a blog post with your favourite vegan meals and snacks? I’d like to be able to do meat free Monday at a minimum or swap meals for vegan alternatives. Or a post with all your favourite eco friendly products? Again always looking to swap out
